In a combination of hands-on creativity, demonstrations and tasting you will enjoy a selection of traditional food for sharing over well-paired shots of locally produced liquor and wine.
End the experience with a strong shot of Greek Coffee to soak up the alcohol (decaf available) prepared in a traditional hot sand cooker.

Learn to prepare traditional dishes, savor local flavors, and enjoy an evening of eating, drinking, and storytelling. Begin by meeting your local hosts, who will guide you through the preparation of classic Greek meze dishes. Learn to make dakos, crispy Cretan rusk topped with tomato, herbs, and creamy Mizithra cheese. Prepare succulent beef meatballs, thick Greek yogurt tzatziki, and zucchini and feta fritters. As you cook, enjoy fresh bread and olives, and sip on locally produced red or white wine. Pair your meal with a selection of locally produced spirits, and finish with traditional Greek coffee, prepared in a sand cooker, served with spoon-sweets on creamy Greek yogurt and loukoumia. Throughout the evening, hear stories about Greek culture and traditions, and take home recipes of the dishes you've made.
The entrance is tucked in back from the road next to a suitcase shop. You will see the sign for The Greek Kitchen above the entrance to the building. Head in and go up the 2 short flights of stairs where you will see the classrooms.
