Following a path parallel to the Vilcanota River, we enjoy panoramic views and the melodious sound of cascading water.
Here, we're presented with the choice of continuing on foot or boarding a train for the final stretch to Aguas Calientes. Opting for the trek allows us to trace the train tracks, offering an unparalleled perspective of the surrounding mountains and heightening our anticipation as Machu Picchu draws near.
Following a hearty breakfast, we embark on the final stretch of our expedition towards the iconic Machu Picchu. The crisp morning air, charged with anticipation, propels us forward as we commence our ascent.
