Chobe day trips are very popular amongst travelers and visitors. Chobe National Park is one of the most pristine settings in Botswana. The park overlooks the Chobe River and offers spectacular views over the floodplains. Of course, joining one of the safaris or boat trips are the perfect opportunity to sit back and experience the amazing landscape and local wildlife. What makes the Chobe unique is the floodplains where a large concentration of browsing and grazing animals can be seen. The rest of the Chobe park will be dry towards the end of the year, but the Chobe floodplains remain lush and green. A large concentration of antelopes and buffalo occur in this area. The lion pride follows these animals and have territories within the Chobe park. The layout of the park offers excellent river drives and floodplain views.

Savannah Adventures Safari Game Drive leaves a bit before other companies in Victoria Falls. You are about to explore the vast wilderness of the African Savannah with its unique wildlife. We are just one of a very few companies that even offer this tour in this area. After our short briefing, we start our safari game drive, where a wide variety of larger mammals may be found. Within Chamabondo Park, we frequently encounter elephants, lions, buffaloes, and leopards. In addition, herds of different antelopes and different smaller species of plains game can be viewed. However, the park is not a fenced area or a game reserve as the animals are always on the move, meaning it's all about being at the right place at the right time. It is not a zoo. During the drive, we stop at a scenic and safe location for a refreshing break. Our guests enjoy some refreshments as well as some fruits and some light snacks and a baobab juice tasting. German, spanish and french upon request and extra cost

The Canoeing Trail operates above the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe on on the Zambezi River. This section of the river is quite unlike the better-known section below Lake Kariba. Here the Zambezi River is regarded as FREE FLOW as a dam does not control it, as such the water is subject to seasonal variation. Floods begin in January and normally peak in April / May. This changes the route as new channels open with the rise in water level. There are numerous islands, which are dissected by channels that may be several kilometres in length and vary in width from one to twenty metres. Rapids are small and at their peak are only classed as grade one, so easily manageable in the canoes we use. The Canoe Trail passes along the banks of the Zambezi National Park, where clients have a good chance of viewing various species of animals, such as Elephants, Buffalo, Impala, Kudu, Hippo, Crocodile etc. The birdlife is prolific with at least 50 common species of bird that can be seen from your canoe.
