Using molds on a Washi paper canvas, you will design your painting with Washi ink. Washi paper cutting involves cutting washi paper into desired shapes. By placing the cut washi on the raw material in the mold, you can color the washi to decorate it. While your paper is drying, let’s relax with our original and only kind "Japanese paper tea" along with local Japanese sweets. The Japanese paper tea is brewed from kozo leaves, which are the raw material for making paper. In this workshop, you will be taking your A5-sized piece of Washi art and one postcard. You can choose to take the postcard with you or send it to someone you care about. If you wish to send the card, we will guide you on how to mail your designed letter. To mail your postcard at a post office, an additional fee is required.
