Sverd i fjell is a must-see. In 872, a great battle was fought all around this area that caused Norway to be birthed. A place of real historical significance. If you are in Stavanger then you have to go and see the swords and learn about the historical significance of the monument. On the way to Ullandhaug Tower, you’ll stop at Hafrsfjord, where a historical battle was fought in the age of Vikings between 872 and 900.
