Underground Adventure in Snowdonia
This is an authentic experience exploring an abandoned mine, with various optional challenges; involving climbing, an abseil, a tyrolean (short zipline) and a short boat crossing. There isn't anything artificial about this trip with the addition of safety anchors being the only changes you'll find in the mine, where necessary, as such, it is most similar to caving with the only lights being those on your headtorches (provided). Our Mountain Leader guide will deliver this true mountain day, 14km and 900m of ascent, to the summit of this world-renowned mountain by a lesser-known path. A truly amazing mountaineering experience that is, with the help of the guide, available to novices through to old-time adventurers alike. With Snowdon being popular its paths can become very crowded indeed. However, the path we will take for the ascent only ever has a handful of walkers and midweek we'll have it to ourselves!
