This tour to El Pedral penguin colony is a full day excursion. Our driver will pick you up in the morning from Puerto Madryn in small groups. You will be allowed to make an spectacular wildlife sightings and take an authentic experience of Atlantic Patagonia from the eyes of the pioneers who populated the area in the last century. Just 15 minutes from our stay, is the Punta Ninfas lighthouse, where the guide will take you to visit and know the history of the place. Every year in September, a growing colony of friendly Magellanic penguins settle in El Pedral. From early in the morning, while we enter to the penguins reserve and enjoy the fantastic experience, "our asador in chief" will be preparing a Patagonian lamb that will be difficult to forget. After lunch, you can enjoy the warmth of our barbecue area, with a delicious tea or coffee accompanied by a typical Welsh cake.

Only as a reference, we provide tours and tourist services, at the Puerto Madryn area, Peninsula Valdes and Punta Tombo with Trelew valley; we focus all our efforts on providing outstanding experiences in contact with wildlife. Besides our office in downtown Puerto Madryn, we also have desks at both of the city’s piers, and we have been providing shore excursions to cruise passengers for the last 17 seasons. All our tours start and finish at the pier. These rates includes vehicle up to 18 seats, with A/C, English speaking tour guide and box lunch (ham and cheese sandwich, granola bar, 1 Argentinean alfajor and 1 bottle of water) also you can choose between a vegetarian, or gluten free meals. We don't use coach buses for tours. If the ship doesn't dock, we don't charge anything, and if you prepaid for the whole tour or any kind of deposit, we will refund the 100% If you don't show up at the pier up to 45 minutes after the ship docks (NO SHOW) we will charge 100% of the rate

We will sail from Puerto Pañuelo, on the Llao Llao peninsula! After an hour of sailing, we will pass by Sentinel Island. From there, navigation will continue until reaching the Cascada de los Cántaros. Crossing the lush vegetation of the Valdivian jungle, we will ascend to the source of the waterfall, in Lake Cántaros, where you can see an ancient larch tree, more than 1,500 years old. We will finally arrive at Puerto Blest, a place whose beauty has amazed tourists and natives for years! Here is the Blest Hostel. We will take SCENIC ROUTE 41 to go past the steppe landscape of 400 meters. s.n.m. until reaching the High Mountain landscape at 1,500 mts.9s.n.m. Impressive views of all the volcanic activity in the area, the Andes Mountains, rivers, streams, a large number of birds, lakes and mountains. On the way we will make several photographic stops and to take short walks to contemplate and enjoy the immensity of the mountain landscape.
