Mokoro Full Day Trip In The Okavango Delta
Sense of Nature Safaris runs all its mokoro trips through the Okavango Kopano Mokoro Community Trust (OKMCT) who control the use of a large area of the delta and who set the guide and community fees for safari activities. This community use this part of the delta for fishing, reed cutting and the harvesting of water lily bulbs. The mokoro is an integral part of these activities. This tour commences and ends in Maun. This activity is conducted by local mokoro community guides. Your qualified guide will take you in a mokoro (the traditional aquatic mode of transport, dugout canoe) through the water channels of the delta while you relax and enjoy listening to bird calls.
