The private three-day trip to the gorges of Todra and the great dunes of Merzouga is a trip that spans over three days, departing from Marrakech. Just passing Tichka pass and the high Atlas mountains, we arrive first at the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a famous fortified village, then Ouarzazate, famous for its movie studios. We will cross the great Valley of Roses to arrive in The evening at the gorges of Dades Canyon. The next day, we'll continue on the road towards Merzouga, visiting the Todra gorges known for their palm trees and their mountains crossed by a long river. Arriving at Merzouga desert where we'll be taken in charge by camel riders who will lead us on camels back to the campsite. Day 1: Marrakech - Imlil - Toubkal Refuge: After a transfer to the village of Imlil we begin our trek. Heading along the Maizane Valley, we first pass the village of Armed and then onto the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch. We then continue our journey by crossing the floodplains. Day 2: Toubkal Refuge - Toubkal Summit - Imlil - Marrakech: Jebel Toubkal, the highest peak in Northern Africa. Our road takes us to the south circus, crossing the stream above the refuge. The walking is relatively straightforward, but the screwy and the altitude will be quite difficult.
