Budva is a tourist center, a monumental resort, a city theater and a prestigious village on the tourist map of Europe and the world. Budva is often referred to as the "metropolis of tourism" because it is the most visited destination in Montenegro and one of the most visited ones on the Adriatic, and it is often given epithet like "Queen of the Adriatic". The most imposing monument of the National Park Lovćen is Njegoš’s mausoleum. On Lovćen there are 1158 plant species, of which there are 4 endemic species. Kurt Hasert, the German geographer, wrote: “The whole of Montenegro lay in front of us like on some relief map. From finish point we will have private car ride to my family home in Village Njegusi. There you will have tasting of homemade national products: dried prosciutto, cheese, wine and brandy. Cetinje is the old Kingdom of Montenegro. It was founded in the 15th century and became the center of Montenegrin life and its culture. Today it is a city museum with beautiful monuments, promenades and nature under the huge mountain Lovćen. Cetinje is the former capital of Montenegro. During King Nikola, numerous embassies of different countries were built in this city, giving the city a specific appearance. The most important monument of the town is Cetinje Monastery built in 1701 - dedicated to the birth of the Virgin. Lovćen is the symbol of Montenegro and its freedom . The mountain is located at 1749 m above sea level, and in 1952, it was declared a national park. On one of the peaks of Lovćen, Jezerski vrh - 1675 m above sea level, there is a Mausoleum, dedicated to Petar II Petrović Njegoš bishop, ruler, thinker and poet, one of the most important figures of Montenegrin history. This place, this great man has chosen for his life for his eternal rest.
