Experience a picture book landscape by bike along the Moselle. In Cochem, bicycles are available in the morning. The route takes you directly (10 km) or over the Senheimer Bridge (23 km) to Beilstein, the “sleeping beauty” of the Moselle. We have put together a picnic basket with delicious delicacies and drinks on the way. Enjoy nature directly on the Moselle. In the early afternoon, the ship will take you back to Cochem with your bike and a lock passage from Beilstein. Here our winemaker awaits you for wine tasting. There are 3 samples of your choice and 1 bottle of wine per person as a present. There is still time to explore Cochem itself. Visit the Reichsburg Cochem, take the cable car to the Pinnerkreuz or stroll through the beautiful shopping town with its many cafés and wine bars.

Welcome aboard the comfortable and exclusive ship La Paloma for a cruise in the Upper Middle Rhine Valley World Heritage Site. No other section of the Rhine has castles and palaces lined up so beautifully. On board La Paloma you can relax and enjoy the view. Start in Koblenz and first sail a short distance down the Rhine with a view of the Rhine in front of Koblenz, the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress and the famous “Deutsches Eck”. At the mouth of the Moselle, the ship turns around and sails up the Rhine to Lahnstein/Stolzenfels. The cruise will take you past the Electoral Castle of Koblenz, the Koblenz Brewery, Lahneck Castle and Stolzenfels Castle. Here the ship turns back and heads back to Koblenz.

In the morning you will be picked up in Cochem and taken to Ernst, where the team of Moselle canoeists will be waiting for you. After a briefing, paddle nine kilometres downstream past Valwig, the Brauselay and the Reichsburg to Klotten. The journey time is about 1.5 hours, breaks are possible flexibly. In Klotten you leave the boats, and the Moselle team takes care of their collection. Directly opposite, a wine-grower's plate with a soup of wine awaits you in the winery. You can stay as long as you like and order a taxi individually. Enjoy the evening overlooking the Moselle and the memories of this unforgettable tour.

You start your tour from Cochem by boat to Bruttig. Again firm ground underfoot you can reach the winery in about 6 minutes on foot. Once there, the master vintner welcomes you. He walks with you through the nearby vineyards where you will learn all about the land & people and of course the wine growing. Once back at the winery, you will receive a small wine tasting with a hearty winemaker's vesper. Boosted by the food, you will taste a few more glasses of wine. You start your tour at the ship agency Gebr. Kolb in Cochem on the Moselle promenade. A fantastic cruise from Cochem to a beautiful Moselle town awaits you! Once there, start on an adventurous wagon ride. While the winemaker pours pure wine and reveals his tips on the subject of wine and viticulture, take a relaxed tractor ride through the vineyards. Back at the winery, a hearty roast skewer with potato salad is served in the rustic wine bar. The table drinks are included during the meal. The boat then takes you back to the starting point of your idyllic trip to Cochem. Be enchanted by the landscape and enjoy the magic of the vineyards! Cochem is often referred to as the pearl of River Mosel for its romantic atmosphere and scenic views. Cochem was also once an Imperial estate, and was once besieged and occupied by the french. King Louis XIV burned down the original castle and conquered the city, which led to a lengthy reconstruction. Napoleon’s army also occupied the city in 18th century, but then was assigned to Prussian rule with the fall of Napoleon. World War II also left its mark here, with the majority of the city being destroyed, After the war, Cochem was reassigned to the newly founded German State of Rhineland-Palatinate. Wonder at St Martin’s Church, one of the landmarks of the city, and discover the Capuchin Monastery, founded in 1623. Explore the Market Square and its importance in the late Middle Ages.
