Rishikesh: Offbeat Day Hike with Meditation inside Vasishta Cave
Begin with a 1.5-hour private drive from Rishikesh to the trek starting point near Kaudiyala village. Walk with guide along an ancient trail once used by pilgrims and sadhus traveling to Badrinath and Kedarnath. The Kotli Bhel Trek follows historic forest paths along the Ganges River, offering views of lush forests, deep valleys, and traditional Himalayan landscapes. Hike around 7 km downhill, passing a scenic waterfall, crossing a hanging suspension bridge, and following a narrow trail that runs beside the Ganges.
