Your journey begins in Fes where you'll take off on a 3-day expedition through landscapes in Morocco. First is Ifrane, an attractive little village with an unmistakable touch of European style in its building design. From Ifrane, travel to Azrou to visit cedar forests where free-roaming monkeys can be seen. A short breather in Midelt offers a chance to get in leg-stretching before continuing through scenic Ziz Valley. You'll arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon, where the Sahara's seemingly endless dunes present an inspiring backdrop. After an evening camel ride through the desert, you'll overnight in a cozy tent in the dunes. Rise early in the morning to have sunrise tinting the dunes in shades of gold.
