The Botanical Garden is one of the most beautiful gardens on Madeira, with marvelous views overlooking the city of Funchal. Located on the Bom Sucesso Estate, the gardens and property date from 1881 and were created by the Reid family as a private park. Today the property is open to the public, hosting many international visitors daily. The gardens cover an area of 80,000 square meters and are home to a fascinating collection of plants. On the drive up the hill with your guide, you can enjoy magnificent views over the city. Embark on this shore excursion and visit the best places at the NorthWest oF Madeira in a 4x4 vehicle with a open top roof. We will take you to the Western part of Madeira passing thru deep valleys, taking you up to 1500 meters high.
