We started this course in the village of Porto da Cruz and ended in Machico. The route is made by footpath, once used by locals to transport their crops from Porto da Cruz to Machico south. Along the way we have fabulous views of the north coast and in some days you can see the island of Porto Santo.

We partner with a local restaurant to bring you to this unique dinner where we take you to a restaurant and you'll experience the typical dish of the Island. While you are eating a delicious meal at the same time you'll see a live performance of a Folk Group from Madeira. The menu of this excellent dinner is as follows: Madeira Wine glass as a starter, Bolo do Caco with garlic butter the traditional Madeiran bread which goes along with the first plate Tomato or Caldo Verde soup. After, the main dish: the famous Espetada, the tasteful skewered beef in a stick, served together with french fries, vegetables, salad and fried maize, typical from Madeira.
