The monastery is the "best-known site" in Syunik. Wings of Tatev, a cableway from Tatev to Halidzor village was opened in October 2010. It was included in the Guinness World Records as world's "longest non-stop double track cable car.

Lake Sevan is a freshwater lake of the Armenian Highland, the largest lake in the Caucasus. Visit to Sevanavank - monastery on the northwest coast of Lake Sevan. The monastery is located on the Sevan peninsula, which was previously a small island. We will continue our way to Tavush region of Armenia - the small resort town of Dilijan. During this private tour you will visit Lake Sevan, the pearl of our mountainous country and one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in Eurasia. See Sevanavank monastic complex, located on the peninsula, overlooking the whole beauty of the lake. Currently a religious seminary functions here which is not readily open to the public.
