Takao its maximum of three stars and then this mountain is now wonderland to attract foreign visitors.It has an excellent view from the peak (599 meter in high). There is an easy way in climbing to use chair lifts or cable tramway. Even children and elderly people can reach the peak without undue exertion. This mountain also has many historical heritage, such as mountain temple , " Yakuo-in ". This temple was founded in 8th century, and accommodates many monks for Zen training (silent meditation in Buddhism). You can enjoy Zen food for lunch.(vegetarian food 2800yen) At the foot of Mt.Takao, you can see fancy traditional village and you can enjoy shopping for souvenir.
