Our MTB tours use these historic trails; pedal-drive kayaks link sea and mountains. Our lodge, powered by wood biomass boilers, supports sustainable living. At Quebico, our wood-fired restaurant, chefs craft gourmet feasts from foraged herbs, fresh fish, and local treasures like gold-eye snapper, using 100% sustainable firewood we harvest from local forests. Kayak to fish, hike or e-MTB trails to gather yomogi, and visit fish markets and a katsuobushi factory to explore Japan’s rural food culture. This private tour, guided in English, supports Izu’s natural and cultural heritage. Our sustainability efforts were recognized by a Ministry of the Environment award in 2022.

Mt. Fuji is known as Japan's highest mountain but the lower area is also home to a stunning forest below. Our day starts as a hour and a half hike up a gentle slope bringing us to a quiet and gladed area for lunch. Enjoy our locally sourced bento and dip into the Japanese art of forest bathing. The activities are fun and relaxed and are more about enjoying the forest and noticing our surroundings. After our lunch return to the car via a different route. While relatively flat the walk takes us to different areas of the mountain and shows us other areas. The trip includes a private vehicle, lunch and an Onsen at the end of the day.
