The Reykjanes peninsula tour begins in Reykjavík or at the Keflavik airport. Our very first stop will be Kleifarvatn lake, the largest lake on the peninsula. Our second stop is the geothermal springs of Krýsuvík, located on the middle of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. The fishing town of Grindavík is our next stop. Brimketill lava rock pool is next up, a little pool right on the edge of land. Next is Gunnuhver, hot spring with a boiling water and mud pools. Close by is the Reykjanes lighthouse, Iceland’s very first lighthouse, built in 1878 but destroyed by an earthquake eight years later. Right by the tower are Valahnúkar and Valahnúkamöl which are unique cliffs and rocks made out of some of the oldest lava on the peninsula. The next stop is where the European and the North American plates meet and form the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Sandvík, a beautiful beach with almost entirely black sands, is our next stop. The one and only Blue Lagoon will be our final destination.

From Reykjavik, we drive to Raufarhólshellir (lava tunnel), where a local guide will tell us all about its spectacular colors and rock formations. 2. After we head to the beautiful Reykjanes Peninsula - one of Iceland’s geological gems, a place rich in geothermal energy, seismic activity, and tectonic movements. 3. After we will stop in Grindavik - a town partially damaged by the recent eruption. We’ll take a lunch break and have time to see the newest black lava flow, large cracks in the ground, and the eerie remains of the ghost town. 6. In the end of the day we will make a stop at the Blue Lagoon. You will have time to walk take pictures or enjoy a coffee in the cafe overlooking the blue pool. If you wish, you can take a bath in the warm lagoon while enjoying a drink or put some silica mask over your body. Embark on an extraordinary journey through the Silver Circle! We kick off with a scenic drive into the majestic Hvalfjördur, a sprawling 30-kilometer fjord brimming with nature's wonders and captivating history. The drive from Reykjavik to the fjord takes about 1 hour. Once we get to the fjord, we will drive along it making a few stops for pictures. After another 1 hour drive, we will reach Deildartunguhver, one of Europe's largest hot spring, located right next to Krauma spa, where you can opt to take a relaxing bath. We then head to Reykholt, an ancient town steeped in medieval Icelandic manuscript studies. Another short drive will take us to the spellbinding Hraunfossar and Barnafoss waterfalls. We then drive for about 1 hour to the town of Borgarnes, with its interesting Settlement Museum, revealing the tales of Iceland's first Viking settlers. Another similar drive will then take us back to Reykjavik.
