Mrtvica canyon is located 35 km from Kolašin in the direction of Podgorica, in the village of Međuriječje. The hidden under the mountain of Maganik, about 9 km long, it is a real jewel of untouched nature. It is one of the most beautiful canyons of the former Yugoslavia. The small river Mrtvica springs on Trebješ mountain, and after 15km of flow it descends in the area of Međuriječje. It flows into the largest Montenegrin river Morača. On the Podgorica panoramic walking tour, you will visit the most important historical and cultural parts of Podgorica. Your tour guide will first take you on the walking tour between the new and the old part of the town where you will get to see the old Ottoman town remains, Old Town Ribnica’s remains, the place where Podgorica’s two rivers meet, and the city’s famous parks, bridges and institutions. At this point of the tour, you will be transported by car to the best vantage point in all of Podgorica on top of a hill.
