Longonot as the sun is rising from the floor of the Great Rift Valley, like a monolith is the extinct volcano of Mount Longonot. Arrive at Mt. Longonot at around 7am for a unique feature is the thick forest that lies within the crater of the mountain. The crater rim also provides great scenic views across the beautiful Rift Valley all the way to Lake Naivasha. In Mount Longonot National Park, set out on the 4-mile (6.4-kilometer), round-trip hike to the edge of the crater, with the option to extend the hike an additional 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometers), walking all the way around the crater rim. There after the Hike you get local food at the local resturant then head back to the Hotel. On your way pass be the curio shops for some gifts.
