We are heading towards the Karacasu district of Aydın after meeting with our guests with a drive of 3 hours. Aphrodisias, a 2500 years old ancient city and a UNESCO world heritage site since 2017, was dedicated to the goddess Aphrodite. Prosperity enveloped the town, thanks to the creativity and excellent craftsmanship of artists who utilized an outsized amount of excellent quality marble from the nearby quarries as a famous sculpture school was present in the city. Within the city, landmarks of a bustling metropolis, such as Odeon (council chambers), monumental gate (tetra pylon), stadium, agora, Hadrian’s Roman Baths, and surely the temple of Aphrodite will be visited. After the visit, our guests will be transferred to Karasu for an included Turkish meal. Following the lunch, our guests will be transferred to Izmir.
