How do you make rice paper? interesting? We will learn and try making rice paper. In the Carpenter Village we will see the carpenters at work designing and carving wood. We will also be able to see the ship carpenters on the river busy renovating and manufacturing wooden ships. We will stop on the way to the sleeping mats village to get to know the plant from which the mats are made and the ways of processing it into threads that will be woven into mats. Arriving at the mat village, we can watch the women and small children {the new generation} weave mats and weave the threads, creating colors for the carpets that will later be used as sleeping mats {a mattress replacement}. Start in the early morning or afternoon to visit My Son Holy, group of Hindu temples, a World Heritage site by UNESCO and where we can see the first beautiful sunrises on a new day, avoid the crowds and enjoy the cooler temperatures of the early morning. My Son, was built from the 4th to the 13th century. So far the technique in building the ancient temple-towers of Champa people remains controversial. The brick were smoothed and laid closely and securely without mortar. In December 1999, My Son was recognized a World Heritage site by UNESCO. You will feel immersed in nature while taking pictures before we head onto Cham towers of the Champa people built in the 11th century. Minimum 2 people per booking
