South Lebanon is the part of the country most first-time visitors skip — and the part that most experienced Lebanon travelers say they wish they had gone to sooner. This private day trip covers three destinations that together span 5,000 years of Phoenician, Crusader, Roman. At your own pace, with an expert local guide at the site where it matters most. Sidon: a 13th-century Crusader sea castle, the world's only olive oil soap museum, a living medieval souk, and a Silk Road caravanserai. Tyre: a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the Al-Bass complex — triumphal arch, colonnaded necropolis street, and a Roman hippodrome built for 20,000 spectators — is explored with an expert local guide who knows every stone. Maghdouché: the hilltop sanctuary where Mantara — "the one who waits" in Arabic — marks where the Virgin Mary is held to have waited while Jesus preached in Sidon below, revered by Christians and Muslims for two millennia. Private vehicle throughout. Tickets payable on site.

Beirut is a city that surprises everyone who visits it — more layered, more contradictory, more alive than any description prepares you for. In four private hours, this tour takes you through its most iconic landmarks — from the Mediterranean seafront to the ancient downtown, from a bullet-scarred Civil War hotel to Roman baths buried in the heart of a modern city. Your expert guide unlocks the stories behind what you see — why a grand mosque and an Orthodox cathedral stand metres apart on the same square, what the unrepaired Holiday Inn facade says about Lebanon's history, and how a city that has been destroyed and rebuilt so many times still manages to feel so completely, defiantly itself. Perfect for first-time visitors, cruise passengers, and anyone who wants to understand Beirut before exploring Lebanon further.

There are Roman ruins — and then there is Baalbek. The temple complex at Baalbek in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley is not merely the best-preserved Roman site in the Middle East — it is arguably the most awe-inspiring Roman construction anywhere on earth. The Temple of Jupiter alone was built on a platform of stones so massive that no crane in the modern world can lift them. The Temple of Bacchus, still standing almost entirely intact, is larger than the Parthenon in Athens. Standing inside these temples, you do not feel like a tourist looking at ancient ruins. You feel genuinely small. This private day tour from Beirut takes you directly to Baalbek with a knowledgeable English-speaking driver who brings the history, mythology, and extraordinary engineering of this UNESCO World Heritage Site to life. On the way you stop at the legendary Stone of the Pregnant Woman, before spending the heart of the day exploring the full temple complex at your own unhurried pace.

Beirut has more history per square kilometre than almost any city on earth — and four hours with a professional guide is the most efficient way to actually understand it. This private tour covers eleven landmarks across three distinct chapters of the city: the Mediterranean seafront, the downtown historic core, and the Civil War layer that Beirut has chosen to keep visible rather than erase. Private vehicle, professional guide, nobody else's schedule. Back at your hotel by 1:00 PM with the full afternoon free. A mosque and a cathedral sharing the same square — centuries of coexistence in a single view. Roman baths in the middle of a rebuilt downtown. Glass floors in a shopping centre revealing Phoenician ruins beneath your feet. The deliberately unrepaired Civil War facade of the Holiday Inn — the most honest building in Beirut. A professional guide makes these connections explicit rather than leaving you to figure them out alone.
