The tour of Maratea begins from the highest point of the town: Mount San Biagio. Here you can admire the majestic Statue of Christ the Redeemer, a symbol of the city and of the Basilicata region. The second largest statue of its kind in the world after the one in Rio de Janeiro, it stands 21 meters tall with an arm span of 19 meters and a face measuring 3 meters.
