The Keukenhof is a flower park in Lisse, 45 minutes from Amsterdam. The park has an area of 32 hectares. Beside the flowers, the Keukenhof also has exhibitions of special flowers with a new flower each week. Some examples of these themes are roses, orchids, and chrysanthemums. Whilst at the site it is also possible to take a boat trip, which sees you sailing between the bulb fields. These boat trips are referred to as whisper trips, due to the boat's electric motors. At the Tulip Experience Amsterdam you will see the history of the tulip in their museum. After that you can go into the bulb fields with more then 1 millions tulips and 700 different kinds and make some nice pictures. At the end you can pluck your own tulips.
