You will start from the steps of the Corum to take the green road that deserves its name towards Castelnau-le-lez. You will cross the cemetery to reach the park of the domain of Méric and discover the history linked to his mansion. After crossing the Lez, you will pass through the village of Castelnau-le-lez where is located the church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste cited as the pearl of the Montpellier novel. You will take the cycle path that borders the vineyards of the Bizkaya domains and then you will reach Lake Crès.

This seaside walk is divided into two main parts, one wilder and less frequented and one more arranged. You will leave the centre via the Aiguerelles district to join the country roads of Lattes. You will then arrive at the path that borders the Lez and then you will take the cycle path that runs along the pond of L’Arnel to Villeneuve-les-Maguelonne. After a visit to the village and the islet where the Cathedral is located, you will reach Palavas on the road to the Etang de l’Arnel. The second part of the journey starts here, you will enjoy the seaside then take the road again via the well-known cycle path that passes through Port Ariane. On an electric bike , comfortable and accessible to all, Discover the first foothills of Garrigues that surround the north of the city of Montpellier on which flow several tributaries of the Lez watershed.
