We're specialists in small sized group tours - we make locals feel like tourists and tourists feel like locals. We are a local tour company specializing in sharing the rich social history of some of the city's most iconic spots. We use fully refurbished ex Royal Mail bikes, and all are named after (often not so) famous Glaswegian women and aim to make all our guests appreciate the city as much as we do. Our routes are safe and take in beautiful parks, rivers and utilize Glasgow's expanding cycle network. If you need an electric bike, please ask us about this as it can often be arranged. Our tours cover the past and contemporary Glasgow, across themes such as history, architecture, culture, and immigration.

We'll embark upon a journey whereby we get you to a mystical place, where we'll delve deep into forrest, enjoying the song of the birds and the gushing sound of the gorge underneath us, walk along the gorge, looking down at the amazing waterfalls and taking pictures of it. Then we will get to an ancient "staircase", where we need to climb down, using the ropes alongside the "stairs" and once we get to the bottom, we'll gaze upon an amazing gorge between the rocks covered with moss, crystal clear water, cold as ice, but a place looking like a haunted scenery out a fairy tale. This is Finnich Glen, that locals thought of being a place of the devils, an isolated and remote looking area, that gives you the chills and excitement in the same time. No wonder this place has been used as a scenery for the Outlander movie.

With Stuart's Bicycle Tours you can explore Glasgow as the true birthplace of the beautiful game. The bike allows you to move easily between rival districts and eras, revealing how the modern game was shaped across Glasgow. At the heart of football stands Hampden Park, the home of the Scotland national team. Once the largest stadium on earth, Hampden became the stage on which Scotland defined itself against the world. We explore the wider Hampden story too, including the atmospheric remains of Cathkin Park and the site of the original Hampden ground since lost. We will be awe struck by the stadiums and birthplaces of Glasgow's giants, Celtic and Rangers, as we ride through the history of the game. The journey includes the West of Scotland Cricket Ground, site of the world’s first international football match. By riding through these places, you don’t just learn football history — you experience where the global game truly took shape before its export around the globe.
