This diverse circular hike takes us through the charming wine village of Spitz, past picturesque vineyards with breathtaking views of the Danube, and up to the historic ruins of Hinterhaus Castle. Part of the trail follows the Spitzer Weinweg, where we’ll gain fascinating insights into the region’s winemaking traditions. In autumn, wild apples, walnuts, and grapes can be found along the way, adding a seasonal treat to your adventure. If we’re lucky, we might even come across a local festival on a spring or fall weekend, offering a taste of regional culture and cuisine.
