We begin in central Stockholm and travel by public transportation into the wilderness. As dusk settles, we set out on foot to explore the heart of the forest, guided by an experienced leader who shares insights into the landscape, wildlife, and Swedish nature. Dusk is the best time to spot wildlife, and we will keep an eye out for animals along the way, but sightings are never guaranteed. You will walk off the beaten path, discovering hidden spots few people get to see. Halfway through the hike, we take a break by a magical lakeside setting to enjoy a light Swedish Midsummer meal, or a hot soup during winter.
