Lukomir is the highest and most isolated village in Bosnia. This hike is also the most popular hike in the country. And for a good reason. It offers all: amazing views, long walks, culture, history and legends. This is the most popular one day trip from Sarajevo. We start our tour on the southern slopes of Bjelašnica mountain, from medieval Umoljani village. We will make a short stop on ancient necropolis at Dolovi, and then continue towards Umoljani. We will then pass through Gradina - highland summer village, and go to Studeni Potok stream. On the way, we will visit 40-meter Peruće Waterfall before continuing to Lukomir. Our last stop - Lukomir village. It lives the same life for more than 600 years, Bosnia’s highest and most isolated mountain village. On the edge of the village you will be treated to a breathtaking view of Rakitnica Canyon. We will have traditional homemade lunch prepared by our hosts. Throughout this tour, you will visit some of the most beautiful cities in Herzegovina, such as Jablanica, Mostar, Blagaj, Počitelj, and Kravice waterfalls. The entrance is free for all tourist attractions, except the entrance to Kravice waterfalls, which costs 10EUR per person during the season. First we will go to Jablanica, a town located in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton. After that, we will visit Mostar, which is known for its iconic Old Bridge, a reconstructed medieval arched bridge over the river Neretva. After that, we will head to Blagaj, where it is recommended to take a lunch break in a restaurant, next to the spring of river Buna. Furthermore, we will go to Počitelj which is a historic medieval town, dating back to the 14th century. Our last stop will be at the Kravice waterfalls, a favorite place of many people to relax and unwind during the hot summer days. You can even go for a swim here!

Mountains are calling and we must go! Follow us up to the olympic mountain Trebevic and enjoy in tasty picnic lunch from mountain top! Meeting at Torus Tours office Obala Isa-bega Ishakovica 3. We will have around 10 kilometers of cycling on a asphalt road which was a front line during the war which happend here in Bosnia and Herzegovina 92'-95'. We can have a look at Sniper Alley from above! After that we have 4 kilometers of gravel road and we are at the top of the mountain! We will decide which trail is the best option for us from here.Trails are 3-7 kilometers long. After trails we will head to abandoned bob sleigh track from Olympic games which were held in 1984. This is one of a only few bob sleigh track in which you can actually ride a bike! After ride down the bob sleigh track we are choosing between trails again. When we finish with any of those we are going to the city center through narrow streets of Sarajevo! Total ride is around 25 kilometers with 1170m in elevation gain.

Best tour if you want to know more about Sarajevos recent history and siege 1992 - 1995. Includes visit to Tunnel of Hope Museum. Tunnel of Hope was an underground tunnel constructed between March and June 1993 during the Siege of Sarajevo in the midst of the Bosnian War. It was built by the Bosnian Army in order to link the city of Sarajevo, which was entirely cut off by Serbian forces, with Bosnian-held territory on the other side of the Sarajevo Airport, an area controlled by the United Nations. The tunnel linked the Sarajevo neighborhoods of Dobrinja and Butmir, allowing food, war supplies, and humanitarian aid to come into the city, and allowing people to get out. The tunnel became a major way of bypassing the international arms embargo and providing the city defenders with weaponry. This tour also includes visit to Bobsled on Trebević mountain, build for 1984 Olympic games.
