Surrounded by mountains, and characterized by a sky that shines its purity during most of the year, the city of San Juan, capital of the homonymous province, stands proud in the middle of the rustic landscape, offering itself to outsiders as the ideal place to rest and full enjoyment. Its urban physiognomy is characterized by contemporary architecture, where wide streets, avenues and sidewalks excellently laid out stand out with a splendid and lush vegetation of trees of different species irrigated through canals or ditches, which is the reason why it is known by the pseudonym of “oasis city”, since it is surrounded by an arid space.
