Travel to Mangue Seco to for a day of adventure, beaches and nature. This remote location is not accessible by car, so you'll cross a river by canoe to explore the area. Once at the beach, opt for a dune buggy ride (own expense, optional on the day of the the tour) to explore the towering white sand dunes and stop for photos. If you opt for the tour, you'll return to the beach after 40 minutes to spend the rest of your time relaxing, swimming and exploring the local restaurants and beach bars. Leave the beach at approximately 3:00pm for a visit to Tieta's House, the character made famous by Jorge Amado's novel. Follow an optional tour of the site, enjoy some ice cream, then board your vehicle to head back to Salvador for hotel drop-off.
