In 2025 we start a historical tour of the Old Levis followed by a discovery of the farmers market of Lévis. This discovery of fresh and processed products by farmers in Chaudière-Appalaches and Bellechasse is a new visit. These visits take place on Sunday mornings from July 6 to September 21. We offer a discount for the first two Sundays if you book in advance. Here is a different way to experience your summer weekends. We organize the same type of discovery with tasting on summer Saturdays at the Cap-Rouge market in Quebec City. Our mission as a non-profit organization is to encourage the local economy by introducing places outside the city circuit. We are part of the social economy because we believe that visits outside of touristic places allow us to discover new places while encouraging local shops. Join Aventure Outaouais for an awesome starlight guided snowshoeing adventure in the Gatineau Park to an charming wood shelter in the heart of the park where a nice warm dinner will be prepared by your guide on the wood stove and served in the warmth and the tranquility of this beautiful and historical shelter. The journey itself is considered moderate in difficulty with 6.5 km (round-trip) in length. But don't let that bother you. With the help of a trained and experienced guide, you will be assisted through this fun adventure and given lots of pro tips. We provide all the training and equipment (snowshoes or crampons, hiking poles, and head lamps) to make it to the shelter and back. This round-trip trail should take around 3 hours to complete, including 1 hour to rest and eat at the shelter. This really is once a must do winter activity in the National Capital Region.

Discover the magic of winter in Quebec on a guided snowmobile tour. Your guide explains safety rules, weather conditions, and driving basics, then leads the group. Two people share each snowmobile and may switch drivers; to ride alone, book and pay for two seats. Odd-numbered bookings may be paired with another participant — book an even number to avoid this. Please arrive 30 minutes before departure with your credit card and a valid driver’s license (any country). Arrivals less than 15 minutes before may be refused without refund. The legal speed limit is 70 km/h on a straight line. No drugs or alcohol before or during the activity; any doubt may result in cancellation without refund. The discovery of Lévis and its maritime, rail and commercial history is different from the history of Québec City. Our guide will help you discover lesser-known aspects of the history of Lévis during both the French and English colonies. The social changes of the Canadian period are also visible in Old Levis. For the summer season 2025 (5 July to 21 September) our visit to Lévis ends with a tasting at the farmers market of Lévis. This tasting takes place with some merchants and farmers present on Sundays at the public market of Lévis. We conduct the same visit to the public market of Cap-Rouge on Saturdays from July 5 to August 31, 2025. Our guides are bilingual French and English, it is possible to have a guide speaking Spanish or Italian by applying a week in advance.
