The area of El Doradillo is visited every season by a group of mother whales with calves. Due to the calm of its waters and the unusual depth of the coast (due to its steep slope), the whales come very close to the beach. The latter makes coastal sighting possible, with a high probability of finding these animals only 15 or 20 meters from the coast. The output is scheduled for 11 am and for 4 pm. Full day excursion: We leave the city of Puerto Madryn heading north, we begin to explore and discover the charms of the Peninsula, its landscape, its flora and fauna. The first stop we make is at the "Carlos Ameghino Interpretation Center", which provides information on the ecosystem of the Peninsula. Puerto Madryn: Peninsula Valdes National Park Day Trip
The excursion begins early in the morning towards the Península Valdés Protected Natural Area. After an hour of travel, you will arrive at Puerto Pirámides, where you will embark for traditional regular whale watching between the months of June and December or sea lions and coastal birds between the months of January and March.
