Lower Antelope Canyon is one the most exquisitely photographed attractions in the Page Lake Powell area. Many visitors prefer the Lower Antelope Canyon to the Upper because it is less crowded, has light throughout, is longer, and offers great variety. Experience a fully guided tour into the 8th wonder of the world, Upper Antelope Canyon. This tour will show the natural illuminating sunlight on the canyon walls, while it is changing colors throughout the seasons. Tour 1 allows sightseers to experience the canyon for around 80 minutes in their selected time slot. With the new updated guidelines, Upper Antelope Canyon is a single direction tour. Visitors will now exit with a 15-minute hike, up and over the beautiful canyon. There are 21 steps going up and 112 steps going down. No children under 8 years old and due to the elevation changes, this tour is not handicapped accessible.

Canyon X is a relatively new scenic tour and the lesser-known cousin of Upper/Lower Antelope Canyon, which results in fewer visitors by comparison to the other two. Canyon X is a mixture of the characteristics of both the Upper and Lower canyon, with the Upper’s feature of pillars of light and the Lower’s steepness. Canyon X is also deeper than the other two and brings ample photo opportunities. It truly is a great vacation spot for photography as well.

Then walk 200 meters with your guide to reach the second gorge. Overlooking from the air, you will see the water flowing in the sand and stones. In this gorge, the X formed by the millions of years of flooding and wind-engraving Navajo sandstone will stand out clear as day. Tours guides know all the hot spots and they will guide you through the amazing natural wonder of Antelope Canyon. They will provide you with the secret knowledge of photographing the beams and dancing with the sand. We will have little chance to be alone in the canyon on this tour, nor will we be able to hear the quiet that some of the other tour times provide, but this tour is a photographic extravaganza. We believe we have the best time starting at 10:30 am for photographing the canyon. We get the early development of the light beams and stay until the beams start to lift off the canyon floor. This tour is led with precision and experience.
