Your day begins departing from Walmart, PAGE, AZ. We include a 1.5 mile walk (roundtrip) out to Horseshoe Bend which is an iconic photo of the canyon and the Colorado River. Lunch included. The highlight of the day is a visit to amazing Antelope Canyon with a Native American guide. This corkscrew canyon is known for its unique water and wind carved sandstone walls and the way light plays in the canyon throughout the day. This a great alternative slot canyon tour compared to Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon. We try to keep out tour guide to guest ratio 14:1. to help elevate guest experiences. When booking a tour with WCE, guests are shuttled from our office location to the canyon entrance site to begin the slot canyon tour. A quiet, slow guided hiking tour with a single tour guide through Waterhole Canyon allows you to capture memorable photos of an EXPERIENCE that will last a lifetime. All participants must be 8 years and older. During the summer season, we want to inform all guests that we implement a high temperature policy. We are located in Arizona and during the summer season we can reach triple digit weather. As a company, our guests’ safety comes first therefore when the outside temperature reaches 95 degree Fahrenheit we close the canyon. All tour operations end.

EXPERIENCE A DEEP, REMOTE SLOT CANYON. Buckskin Gulch is the longest slot canyon in the world, slicing through the beautiful Navajo sandstone in southern Utah. Enjoy an intimate adventure in an incredible slot canyon without the mass of crowds that are encountered at Zions or Antelope Canyon. We'll be dropping into the very middle of this remote canyon, bypassing a long hike at the beginning, and exploring the labyrinth at a leisurely pace all to ourselves. This hike is not for anyone with a strong fear of heights and requires a steep Class 3 scramble into the slot (you'll be using your hands on the rock). This is a physically demanding full-day hike between 6 to 10 miles, with 500' vertical elevation between top and bottom. Recent rain events may require hiking through mud and wading through pools of water. Conditions inside the slot canyon change continuously, so bring an adventurous and positive attitude. Entry into the canyon is allowed only if safe from flash flood danger.
