Enjoy a Yolŋu cultural tour in East Arnhem Land, Northern Territory. Participants are welcomed by community members and immersed in Yolŋu life, culture and history for the day. Highlights include experiencing a buŋgul (Yolngu dance ceremony), taking part in traditional weaving or spear making. Hear ancient stories of the land, environment, and culture from your Yolŋu hosts. Visit stunning off-the-beaten-track locations, including a fresh water waterfall, that many residents of East Arnhem Land don't even know about! This immersive experience offers a deep connection with both Yolngu people and place. This is a self-drive tour and a 4WD is recommended. A complimentary campsite at the Cato River Campground is provided with each tour booking. Hand made arts and crafts are available to purchase on the day. Cash only paid directly to the artist.
