All of our guides are Lifeguard Certified with the American Red Cross and guests may choose to swim on our tours ;-) We provide Light Weight Fully Carbon Fiber Paddles for enhanced user experience. Weave Large granite boulders and gaze upon crystal clear turquoise shallows and cobalt blue depths. On warmer days guests may to swim, scale up Bonzai, and leap into the water for a more thrilling adventure. Guides capture stunning photos. We are allowed to launch a maximum of 6 kayaks on any given tour. On tours with more than six guests booked, guests of the same family will be asked to paddle in pairs. Guests desiring kayaks for themselves should choose tours with less than six total guests. Larger groups must request accommodation three weeks in advance and be granted permission from the state park.

This is the perfect way for beginner paddlers to learn how to SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard). The water is usually smooth and glassy early in the morning, and that’s the best time to SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard). During this one hour session, you will receive introductory paddling instruction while enjoying the lake at its calmest. Learn techniques for entering and exiting the water, transitioning from kneeling to standing, body positioning, strokes, and tips for maximum efficiency, speed, safety and fun. This tour goes from 8:30 am to 9:30 am. Our instructors are highly qualified, with ACA instruction certifications and years of experience. We have a 2 person minimum, so if you're travelling solo, we may only be able to do this lesson if someone from another party has booked for the same day.

This is like riding in a classic car on the water. With its big powerful engine, this will take you back to the grand days on the water on the 50's. It's a truly unique experience. Private charters with a maximum of 6 people. Perfect for a couples night-out, special occasion birthday, anniversary cruise or an intimate wedding. Radiance cruises are best appreciated during the early morning and evening alpenglow hours. Daytime lake conditions are less predictable, yet cruises are available and always a good time. Our staff at Alpenglow Boat Company are delighted to create special event cruises with clients, such as full moon stargazing and sunrise tours. Just ask!
