The depth of the mine is 340 meters, the total length of the corridors and tunnels is over 245 kilometers. The tourist route is over 3 km long and includes over 20 halls, underground lakes, a multitude of corridors and buildings, including the largest and one of a kind Church of St. Kinga - the patron saint of miners. The underground church is richly decorated with chandeliers, carvings and statues of saints carved out of salt. There is a specific healing microclimate in the mine, and there is a sanatorium at a depth of 135 m.
