Kawagoe is the perfect escape from Tokyo's bustling modernity: in fact, even though many foreign tourists don't know about it, Kawagoe is so rich in heritage and tradition and it deserves a full day to be visited. Take a bus tour around Shinjuku, where you can see everyday people from the bus. You can also visit the underground mall, which is a super maze. Businessmen and women walk around seriously and fast, especially Monday through Friday. (These courses are only from 1 pm. On the other hand, the course from 2 pm is recommended if you want to walk around a red-light district deeply.
