We will be offering a 16 day fully inclusive ski touring/mountaineering to climb and ski one of the greatest untapped ski destinations on the planet. The Cordillera Blanca offers long valleys leading to massive glaciated peaks. This is a rare opportunity to attempt to get high in the Andes to climb and ski Pisco (5752m) and Huscaran (6768m). Nevado Pisco is a very straightforward an achievable climb, most of the way is not steep and not technical. The Cordillera Huayhuash (Huayhuash Range): The Huayhuash Range is the second highest tropical mountain chain in the world, after the Cordillera Blanca (White Range), immediately to the north. Even though it is located 120 kilometers from the Pacific Ocean, the crest forms part of the Continental Divide of South America; the waters of the eastern slope flow to the Marañon River, a principal tributary of the Amazon. Running from north to south, the main zone that has some twenty summits within about 25 km, with a secondary mountain change of summits of lower elevation toward the west that is about 15 km long. Six of the peaks are higher than 6,000 meters. Among the peaks, Yerupajá (6,617 m) stands out - it is the second highest mountain in Peru (after Huascarán, at 6,768 m.) Also of note is Siula Grande (6,344 m), which achieved fame through the book and subsequent film “Tocando el Vacio“ (Touching the Void) by mountaineer Joe Simpson.

One of the few mountains in the Cordillera Blanca that you can climb in just 2 days, Vallunaraju (5,686m) is a fantastic peak. And, on this trip, you will get to climb right to the summit of this trip. Our trip will begin in the lovely mountain town of Huaraz. From there, we will travel to the beautiful Quebrada Llaca (4,200m). Afterwards, we will go to the Vallunaraju Base Camp, where we will spend the night. On the following day, we will climb to the summit of the peak. From the summit, you can enjoy some magnificent views of other nearby peaks. After you’ve soaked in the great views, we will then return to base camp and then the Quebrada Llaca and then Huaraz.

Climb of Ishinca, with a journey through the Ishinca Valley, is a popular destination for climbers who want to get to 5 or 6000 meter peak, but because of the scenic beauty, this is a great climb even if you don’t reach the peak. On this hike we have a fascinating view of the massif that includes Ishinca, Urus, Tocllaraju, Ranrapalco, the Palcarajus and much more. The super-classic Tocllaraju NW ridge and the most difficult Ranrapalca Normal route belong to another climbing range and complete. The Quebrada Ishinca Base camp: Besides a wide plan to put on your tent – offers indeed various possibilities to climb some interesting routes, as Urus Este Normal route, shorter than the Ishinca Normal one. Also the ascent of the neighbouring Urus Central and Urus Oeste shows low difficulties, but these latters are rarely climbed in favour of the very popular Urus Este.
