The North Shore Private Historical Tour is designed to showcase all that Prince Edward Island’s north shore has to offer, beginning with an exploration of the historic city of Charlottetown, its landmarks and heritage sites, including Great George Street, St.. Dunstan’s Basilica, and Province House (the birthplace of Confederation). Want to experience the best of scenery and history and culture in a short 5 hour time frame. This is your tour. It captures the best the Island has to off from it's beautiful beaches , historic fishing villages and lighthouses, historic sites and hidden gems. You can add an option lunch to the tour as well by increasing the time frame. Experience the beautiful sights and sounds of Charlottetown on a three-hour electric bicycle tour. For the departure, the participants will be fitted for an e-bike and helmet, undergo an e-bike orientation followed by a safety demonstration, and depart for a tour. Travelers are encouraged to dress according to the weather. Sunscreen and sunglasses are recommended, and water and snacks can be purchased at Rising Tide prior to departure. This tour includes a short tour of Historic Charlottetown including St. Dunstan's Basilica and Province House, Birthplace of Canada. A picturesque drive through the rolling hills of PEI to Park Corner, the location of Silver Bush. We will also be making photo stops at French River and Lucy Maude's Birthplace. Next we will continue on to Green Gables Heritage Site (Anne's House) and the grave site of Lucy Maude Montgomery and her husband. A coastal drive through Cavendish Beach takes us to North Rustico Harbour (a working fishing harbour), the North Rustico Light house, and then returning to Charlottetown.

Enjoy this half day tour along PEI’s south shore. Departing from the Charlottetown waterfront, you will see old Charlottetown and hear about its important role in the founding of Canada. From the city, we head west into communities of the farmlands and tidy rural homes on our way to Victoria-by-the-Sea. This quaint artisan village holds many treasures, from a pretty range lighthouse to craft shops, the wharf, cafes and a chocolate shop. Leaving Victoria, you will see more of PEI’s red sandstone shore and the Confederation Bridge comes into view. This record-setting structure is an engineering marvel. We stop at the foot of the bridge for an up-close look, and another lighthouse. One more drive on scenic road to the Seacow Head Lighthouse where you can climb to the top for another view or stop in to their cafe for a beverage. The final leg of this tour is in Charlottetown, through pretty neighbourhoods and we leave you with a Cows' Ice Cream coupon to enjoy at your leisure.

Your walking tour of Charlottetown starts on the city’s waterfront at Confederation Landing. From here, the tour will progress up Great George St. which is known for the evolution of architecture displayed here with its beautifully preserved Georgian architecture on one side of the street and Gothic Revival architecture on the other side. Continuing onward, guests will stroll the grounds of Province House - also known as the birthplace of Confederation before heading over to Victoria Row. Guests will continue onward to view the Confederation Centre of the Arts where the world famous Anne of Green Gables play has been running for over 50 years!
