Budva is a coastal city on the Adriatic coast in Montenegro. This city dates back 3,450 years ago and is one of the oldest cities on the Adriatic Sea. The area around the city, along the coast, is called the Budva Riviera. The Riviera is the center of Montenegrin tourism, known for its sandy beaches and night life, the area of hotels and restaurants that separates the beautiful coast from high mountains. The name Old Town, Budva was worn in the Middle Ages, and most of the architecture of this city was of Venetian origin. Doors, windows, balconies and many other parts of the constructions are of Roman style. It kept original form with its narrow streets, squares and stone staircases leading to the elegant houses with small windows framed by hewn frames and red-tiled roofs. Budva has a large number of cultural and historical monuments, monasteries and churches that document the historical and social events in the area of the Budva Riviera. It is called ''Queen of the Adriatic''.

A seaside air spa – Katič Nature Park – home to healing Aleppo pines and the purest waters of the Adriatic. This sanctuary, often called the ‘lungs of the Mediterranean,’ is also home to a rare fish that changes its gender. Miracles seem to belong here: historical records tell how local villagers once rescued sailors from a warship just off the Petrovac coast. Even today, people believe the small islands of Sveta Nedelja and Katič watch over those at sea. As you cruise by boat, you’ll marvel at the beauty of two islands and two caves—one of them the legendary Cave of Wishes. Don’t miss the chance to swim at some of the most beautiful beaches on Montenegro’s coast, where red pebbles meet the turquoise sea.

You will explore one of the most interesting adrenaline attractions in Montenegro. Drenovštice Canyon is hidden in a place that no one would expect. The tour starts above Budva, from the village of Krapina. The canyoning adventure start near the place where we park the car. We would adjust your equipment and prepare you for tour. In the canyon, you would enjoy the spectacular forms of rocky cliffs and waterfalls up to 15 meters high. The canyon has many challenges like crossing slippery rocks, jumping to the pool or swimming and abseiling. The canyon is accessible all the time, water stays in it throughout the summer. The water in the pools is not very cold in the summer, so you only need light clothing, but when the water is big we give you a wetsuit. Passing through the canyon takes about 3 hours, and after passing we have about 20 minutes of walking up the hill to the place where we started the canyoning tour. This canyon is also suitable for families with children age 10 and older.

This guided winter tour turns Budva’s coastline into a calm sea-kayak loop. We start at Slovenska Beach and paddle in a small group below the Old Town walls and rocky shore, then continue to coastal caves. The guide leads you into Pigeon Cave and low sea passages that are only practical by kayak. The second part focuses on St Nicholas Island. We land near a small chapel linked to medieval travellers and crusader stories, take a short walk and have a light snack, then follow the wilder side of the island under the Lovers’ Arch and out towards the lighthouse at the far tip. On calm days the guide also points out St Sava’s shoal, a shallow strip that seems to stretch from the island back towards Budva. Sea kayaks with spray skirts, winter waterproof suits and buoyancy aids make this a realistic cold-season adventure for reasonably fit beginners and intermediate paddlers.
