This 2.5-hour guided tour is absolutely entertaining: you see a number of important sights from the outside (including the Parliament, St. Stephen's Basilica, Andrássy Avenue, the Great Synagogue), discover beautiful, but lesser-known details ( Art Nouveau palaces, the small market hall, the old sub-paved railway), gets various local tips and insider recommendations, hears legends and stories from yesterday and today and gets a picture of how the people of Budapest live today. During the tour we are only on foot, trying to avoid the larger crowds as much as possible. Who do I recommend this tour to? The tour itself is suitable for everyone (there are enough interesting things for the younger generation and since there are no long/difficult paths, it is easy to master even for less enthusiastic walkers), especially as an introductory tour (right on the first day) , because you can also collect a lot of tips for the next few days.

No matter what city in the world we visit, we always ask ourselves: How are the people of Budapest similar to us? How are they different? And why? How engaged are they in the life of their city or country? Are they open to other cultures? What about the rights of women or minorities? How good is the education here, and is it affordable? How do young people live here? Because, after all, the city's and country's future will depend on them. This is what our tour of Budapest will be all about. Not only will we see beautiful architecture, but also luxurious interiors. It's simply unavoidable in Hungary's capital! But most interestingly, we'll visit places overlooked by tourists but loved by locals and expats. These places include galleries, multi-format and ruin bars, a very distinct bookstore, a secret café, and a few adorable vintage shops and courtyards. We'll discover the street art of Budapest.
