Tohora Bora Bora was the first to introduce the public to whale migration and launch the observation circuit. Simon shares his passion with respect and sensitivity for these marine mammals. As whales evolve in the natural environment, their observation remains unpredictable. The “launch” option does not ensure swimming and, where possible, involves swimming more than 100 m in the open sea, requiring good physical condition and ease in the water. The excursion lasts 3h30 in the ocean, sometimes with waves or swell. Launches depend on the behaviour of the animals and on maritime and weather conditions. The safety of participants and respect for whales, a protected species, remain a priority, with strict rules on numbers of people, distances and approaches. Those who prefer can stay on board and watch from the boat. This authenticity makes each output unique
