As the elevation increases from Belize City to Xunantunich you will get to see the Maya Mountains from a distance and the change in vegetation from savanna to tropical jungle. The drive takes approximately 2.5 hours in which we get to venture through the Twin Towns of San Ignacio and Elena as we make our way closer to the hand crank ferry. Once, we arrive to the ferry we will be hand cranked across the beautiful green Mopan river which we then drive for another 5 minutes to our destination. You will have the opportunity to climb the El Castillo temple which is approximately 130 feet tall. From here you will be able to see Guatemala the one of the neighboring countries with Belize. As you trek along the site you might run into some wildlife as this site is surrounding by jungle. You might get a glimpse of monkeys, birds, spiders and much more. After we finish the site tour, we will enjoy a picnic of local cuisine and then make our way back to Belize city.

We then make our way over to enjoy the zip-line adventures. The hour-long drive takes you west from the city through the countryside to the cave branch area of the Sibun River. Once at the park, you get to use the restroom, and then you are introduced to the crew that does the tour. You will be zipping from platforms as high as 60 ft from the forest floor and moving at about 30 mph. Zipping through the pristine rainforest of the country, there will be approximately 7 lines that you will be zipping on. The crew that will be doing the activity has an exemplary record. We take you to one of the best internationally certified zip-lining locations in Belize. It has a total of 5 lines that go through the canopy of the rainforest. Two zip-lining guides will be assigned to you and will assist you for the entire zip-lining experience. Our guides have 5 years experience so you are in safe hands. Our number one priority is your safety. While zip-lining through the canopy, you may get a chance to see wildlife such as howler monkeys, green iguanas, toucans, and other species of birds. We try to keep things as natural as possible. There are two lines that cross the river; each line connects to a platform so you will zip in a circle and end up in the same spot where you started.
