Explore Trinidad’s tallest waterfall. Maracas Valley lies just north of Trinidad’s first capital. Once inhabited and thought sacred by the island’s first people, the single drop waterfall stands at approximately 300 feet. Stepping into this basin feels like stepping back in time, surrounded by nature, this is one of Trinidad’s hidden gems. The hike on average takes about 40 minutes and although uphill, is a 4 out of 10 in terms of difficulty for persons reasonably fit and active. After the falls, we guide you to back down the trail to Ballata pools, where guests can fully submerge themselves and relax in mountains fresh and rejuvenating waters. After your hike we treat you to some of Trinidad’s most delicious foods. This tour begins and ends at the family’s property where washroom facilities are available.

Experience LIVE music in Port of Spain by night! From 8.30pm we will tour you through the energetic capital of Trinidad to various “steel pan yards” where the local steel-bands practice. Trinidad is the birthplace of the versatile "steel-drum" and we hear Soca, Calypso and sometimes even some Classical music - the steel-bands are everywhere! Listen to the pulsating rhythms of "Phase 2 Pan Groove" and others in their authentic neighborhoods - and of course taste some delicious street food as well. Let's check out the busy night strips (optional), we will give excellent insider tips. After the tour you can choose to stay and "lime" (hang out) or we drop you back to your hotel by 10.30pm.
