On our tour you can enjoy the noble plants of the region in selected beautiful places in the old town and/or with a view of Lake Constance. Along the way, you will hear facts and anecdotes about Lake Constance wine. Here on Lake Constance, the vines grow predominantly on ice age weathering soils - there is nowhere else in Germany! The terroir offers ideal conditions to produce fine wines. The mild climate, Lake Constance as a heat store, the reflection of the sun’s rays on the heat-loving vineyards and, last but not least, the warm blow-dry winds from the Mediterranean ensure that excellent, award-winning wines grow on Lake Constance at an altitude of sometimes more than 500 m above sea level.
