1. Observe many from the 123 brown bears of various ages hosted by the Sanctuary in Zarnesti (the biggest Bear Sanctuary in Europe). 2. Visit the famous Bran Castle which initially served as military defense fortification, then as customs point and ultimately as one of the summer residences of the Romanian royal family. It's a medieval castle with a royal touch, that's also linked to the Dracula legend. Besides touring the castle you also get free time for souvenirs in the bazaar at the footsteps of the landmark. 3. The Rasnov citadel was an important medieval fortification in Transylvania. It has a spectacular view of the Barsa Land. We'll visit the outside garden and the Rasnov letters on the hill! 4. Last but not least you can taste our traditional strong drink at a local Palinca distillery. Find out how plumbs, apricots, cherries, pears and other fruits are distilled and maturated! It's an unique opportunity to celebrate Halloween in one of the best locations for this thematic party. The Bran Castle is also known as Dracula's castle thanks to the 1897 novel, written by Bram Stoker. It's all about Dracula on November the 2nd, during the official Halloween party hosted at the castle. The fortress is specially decorated for this event and live actors will entertain you as never before! The evening starts at 7pm. We drive you from Brasov to Bran. A special spooky tour of the Castle is available until midnight. The Tent party with live music follows and ends long past midnight. One or more local tour guides will stay with you during the whole night and drive you back to Brasov when the party ends. This tour is shared and depending on the amount of participants we can have cars and/or minivans departing back to Brasov at various timeframes 2am/3am/4am. We invite you to a horse-drawn carriage ride in the village of Lazaresti and through the wild forests of the Volcano Land,near Lake Saint Anne.During the trip we will make a time travel (approx.16 km round trip) in the footsteps of wild boars and bears. We stop on the top of the mountain, where a charming view of the Ciuc basin awaits us. We will taste real mineral waters, we will see the tracks of animals, after which we will enjoy a traditional picnic in nature, with tastings of local products (brandy, bacon, cheese, etc.) On the way back we will visit the traditional Nyír bath,admiring the post-volcanic activity, which is still manifested today in the form of carbonated mineral waters, mud and healing gases.
